Product descriptionThe Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) is a vector geographical digital model of the territory of the Czech Republic. At present, the planimetric component of ZABAGED® consists of 145 types of geographical objects: settlements, transport networks, utility networks and pipelines, hydrography, territorial units and protected areas, vegetation and land cover, terrain relief, and selected data on geodetic control points. The objects are represented by a two-dimensional vector spatial component and a descriptive component containing qualitative and quantitative information about the objects.
Update cycle - update stateThe whole dataset is updated at regular intervals in two basic ways. Periodic (areal) way of update and a continuous update of selected features based on current data from thematic administrators. Updated versions are published at quarterly intervals.
