Map Services - WMS - Public - Introduction:

WMS map-viewing services are published in accordance with the OGC WMS 1.3.0 standard. They provide image data in PNG, JPEG, or GIF formats across various coordinate systems; the available options are listed in the services' capabilities (GetCapabilities). The service also supports attribute queries for vector features within the map (GetFeatureInfo) and allows for smooth map scaling. They are suitable for general data viewing, where maximum rendering performance within the map window is not a critical requirement.

View services are provided free-of-charge and without a need of registration. Terms of use are an integral part of the metadata of each service.

Examples of applications for exploitation of the services are listed here.
These services are available especially in the Geoviewer application at the ČÚZK Geoportal.
