| Product description | The AGS – Historical Names map service is provided as a public view service for viewing historical geographical names of unsettled objects linked to the current data of the Database of Geographical Names of the Czech Republic (Geonames). Each object may have several names extracted from maps and non-map sources. The attributes indicate the probable period of use of the historical name, the language of the name, the full name and any abbreviations used in the source, and the source of the name. The service can be used via REST, SOAP, and WMS interfaces. | |
