WCTS service is exploited for the transformation, which uses the computation modul of the ETJTZU 2019 program, approved by ČÚZK for transformation from ETRS89 (ETRF2000) to S-JTSK – see also see also Information about approval of transformation programes.
Transformational interface of the Geoportal performs 3D transformation. Therefore it is always needed to input couple of coordinates and also altitude in the GUI (or 3 coordinates XYZ). If altitude is unknown, value 0 (zero) is inputted.
Only in case of GML transformation it is allowed to use 2D transformation.

The transformation is restricted only for the territory of the Czech Republic.
Combinations of coordinate systems in transformations are limited. It is not possible to combine arbitrary coordinate systems with each other. Typically, transformations between WGS (with or without cartographic projection) to ETRS89 (with cartographic projection) and S-JTSK / 05 and from ETRS89 (with cartographic projection) to WGS (with or without cartographic projection) are not supported.
Selected transformations (with WGS participation) require a time epoch (date of a specific day) to calculate.
